Conductor: Rocky Wiseman. --- The Blennerhassett Suite tells the story (through music) of the rise and fall of Harman and Margaret Blennerhassett's estate on a stately island in the Ohio River in present-day Parkersburg, West Virginia. Composer John Knox of neighboring Marietta, Ohio wrote the piece in five uninterrupted movements, each cataloging a different era of Blennerhassett Island which include; I. This Island, II. The Mansion, III. Life at the Manor, IV. Mr. Burr and the Conspiracy, V. The Island's Curse.
