Sangeeta S bahl created History by scaling Mount Everest in may 2018 at 53 years, thereby becoming the oldest Indian woman to do so. She created waves of inspiration in the entire country and she was mentioned in "Mann ki Baat " by our PM Modi on 27thmay 2018. The twitter was all in a flurry too where she was tweeted on her achievement by Sports minister Mr Rajya Vardhan Singh Rathore, Ex Cm Mehbooba Mufti, WCD ministry and covered in all national Tv and print media . She started mountaineering at a very late age around 47, when she accompanied her husband ankur to her first peak Kilimanjaro. in Africa She has balanced being a loving wife, doting hand on mother, looks after her aged parents and running two companies " Impact image consultants" and Impact mountaineering" whilst focussing on training , self discipline and time management. She has evolved from being an ex Miss India finalist to flying for 15 years in an international Airline to an entrepreneur and now a Celebrated Mountaineer. the humanitarian side of her looks after animals and their protection. she takes care of many strays and is a member of peta. It is for love of animals and " speaking for the voiceless " she has recently turned into a VEGAN. Her last climb Mount Mckinley will cause awareness of " Cruelty free for the voiceless" She is an ambassador for breast cancer awareness with Tata memorial hospital. She has created history by becoming the oldest Indian woman to scale Mt. Everest at the age of 53. She has currently conquered 6 out 7 highest summits in the world. She has triggered wave of inspiration among those who has the spirit to do something out of the league. She was admired by our PM Mr. Narendra Modi and was recognized by many other high profile delegates which brings a flurry on twitter. Her journey from being an ex Miss India finalist to ex flight purser to a successful entrepreneur of two companies ‘Impact Image consultants’ and ‘Impact mountaineering’ to a celebrated Mountaineer has motivated us all. Not only this, she is a remarkable humanitarian along with balancing other vivid roles excellently.
