They're generally passive towards players but they will help to attack hostile mobs if a player is nearby holding a tropical fish. Axolotls have a unique behavior where they can can play dead when damaged, healing in the process. They attack fish and squid, and drowned and guardians attack them on sight. Sculk sensors have also been tweaked, where waterlogging them will silence them, and walking on wool will no longer generate a frequency.
