This is a super easy Whole Grain / Multi-Grain bread recipe that's almost fool-proof. It makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf (approx. 12 slices). If you use the optional grains (Flax, Chia Seeds, Hemp Seeds, and Sunflower Seeds) you may have to add another tablespoon of water. Just keep an eye on the dough while it's mixing. I pretty much just dump in the ingredients and forget about it. It's been very consistent in my Welbilt. I can get this loaf going in just a few minutes and the machine takes care of the rest. Best of all, the bread tastes great too. It's a struggle to keep everyone from cutting it up before it cools. Ingredient List: 1 1/4 cups Water 2 tbs Butter or Margarine 1 1/3 cups Bread Flour 1 1/3 cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup Multi-Grain Hot Cereal 1 1/4 tsp Salt 3 tbs packed Brown Sugar or Honey 1 pack Instant Rapid Rise Yeast (2 1/2 tsp) Optional Ingredients: 1 tbs Flax Seed 1 tbs Chia Seed 1 tbs Hemp Seed 1 tbs Sunflower Seeds (for texture/crunch) Machine Settings: 1 1/2 lb loaf, medium crust, basic bread.
