I've been so excited to release this song, but preparing to go to Japan and getting here has gotten in the way. I'm an exchange student, yay! This time, my friend who wrote the lyrics for cherophobia played guitar and bass for my song! It's my first time having live instruments in my song, and I'm really glad because the song sounds really good because of it. I also got help from Kano Ikusa from Piapro (which is really useful for finding collab partners--I wish there was an English equivalent). Isn't her art cool and stylish? It took me about a month and a half to finish the PV, but I'm happy with it. This song was originally supposed to be for Gumi, but it just wasn't in her range, so the lyrics had to be mostly scrapped and rewritten for a male singer... references to skirts and hips had to go, lol. Though I'm not a guy, this song is based on real feelings of inadequacy. It hurts when your feelings aren't returned and you're just wondering why you don't measure up, why you /can't/ measure up. You know, what makes you wrong, and that person right.
