Ultimate Raspberry Pi Build #07 - Improving the fan control

In this video we are going to improve the previous made fan control. For that we are analyzing the speedometer output of the fan and read it with the raspberry pi with a selfmade level shifter. We are also taking a look at the auth.log and add a custom logfile with the help of a syslog.d and logrotate.d configuration file, which will remove all the log entries caused by the smartctl command (which has to be run as root). Last but not least we are going over the new fan control code, which takes the speedometer output into account and controls the fan with a PWM signal.
