A video of my thoughts on the boss design in Dark Souls III, Elden Ring, and Hollow Knight, specifically looking at how multiple phases can turn these bosses from a fun challenge to a frustrating chore. Remember that this is all my opinion, feel free to beg to differ on this! Also, do note that I'm talking about multiple phases applied to difficult boss fights, such as the ones from SoulsBorne and Hollow Knight.
