Now, that also says that China wants to switch to higher quality but maybe slower growth. In addition to this, the legislature is due to review a few laws that they will likely pass. One of those laws is an environmental code that will set out a comprehensive framework for policies and regulations governing the environment. They will also review a law on minorities and how their lives are governed here in China. In addition to these laws, the NPC is also promoting policies that will boost consumer consumption, one thing that they have cared about a lot in recent years, but while also trying to continue its investment in high-tech industries such as robotics, AI, and high-end manufacturing.
