I'm Melissa Nagin, I'm a Board Certified Lactation Consultant in private practice in New York City. I have my BA from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. And I was trained as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City. I absolutely love what I do, I love working with breastfeeding moms, I love the puzzle, I love the challenge but mostly I like seeing them achieve the goals that they set out to achieve. A lot of moms will start out saying, "I can't do this, there's no way. It's not working for me," or, "It's not going to work for me." And to see them at a year saying, "Oh my G**, I need to wean this baby," when they thought they wouldn't make it beyond day one is such a pleasure to me.
