"Kwade Tocht" is about a myth that was prevalent in the Utrecht region in Medieval times. Just south of Utrecht lay the township of Vreeswijk, a town notoriously know as a safe haven for outlaws. The road between Utrecht and Vreeswijk was known to be long and eerily lonesome. It was said at the time that travellers wandering that road could come across the devil. This story is about a man with a price on his head who seeks to find a safe haven in Vreeswijk. Travelling the misty path, one eerily quiet winter morning, the devil finds him.
