Growing Education: Community Conversations

Co-sponsored by the Highlands Economic Partnership, "Growing Education: Community Conversations" is part of American Graduate: Let’s Make It Happen, a public media initiative supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across America address the dropout crisis. WCTE’s goal is to bring together our area’s educational and economic leaders, as well as community members, for a town hall meeting to incite meaningful discussion around these issues. The discussion focuses on the necessity, challenges, and impact of quality education from birth to career for citizens of our region, as well as education’s role in developing a qualified workforce. WCTE and selected panelists facilitated the conversation, and audience members had the opportunity to share their thoughts and concerns.
