(28 Aug 2020) TONY SHALHOUB AND MARIN HINKLE'S BINGE WATCHING: 'UNORTHODOX' AND 'NORMAL PEOPLE' While the cast of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," eagerly await their return back to work, they've had some time to binge other TV shows. Specifically, the on-screen husband and wife duo, Marin Hinkle and Tony Shalhoub agreed they both love the shows "Unorthodox" and "Normal People." Hinkle said the two shows went right into her heart, for personal reasons. "I found them so soulful. I'm very sad. Often I have friends whose families members have passed away. I certainly read the newspaper every day and feel like a torturous sense of pain about about a million things going on. And so to actually see pieces of art that take me away from that, it's been great," she said. In Netflix's "Unorthodox," a young Jewish woman flees her orthodox community and arranged marriage for freedom in Berlin. Shalhoub agreed, describing "Unorthodox" as compelling and riveting. He said he also loved all the actors in "Normal People." "Also, just just lovely, lovely performances," he said before remembering another show that made an impact on him. "I highly recommend 'The Great.' It is-- some of it is rough water, because it's just so out there. But it's it's it's it's just brilliant."
