In this video I restore a boat trailer that I got for free when I purchased the boat. The trailer was a galvanized steel trailer that needed a lot of love and left me stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire on my way home from picking it up! To start I wanted to change the wheel hubs as both sides the bearings were completely ruined. I replaced the hubs with pre-greased hubs and I also put on new wheels and tires. Next I restored the coupler and began dismantling the entire trailer. Once everything was apart I ground all the surfaces with a wire wheel and then powder coated the small parts and primed and painted the large parts with farm and implement gloss black paint from Tractor Supply.
