Here's a RapidBus route that launched in April 2020. The ride begins at West Vancouver's Park Royal Mall. The ride continues eastbound along Marine Drive, E 3rd Street, Cotton Road, and Main Street, all the way to Phibbs Exchange in North Vancouver. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! History: *Spring to Fall 2018: Consultation of a proposed B-Line route connecting Dundarave and Phibbs Exchange via Lonsdale Quay, along with corridors along 41st Ave, Fraser Hwy, and Lougheed Hwy (from Coquitlam Central to Haney Place). *December 2018: Opposition from West Vancouver residents began shortly after plans for the route and transit priority measures are announced (i.e. bus lanes for the route). *March 2019: Western terminus of the proposed B-Line route moved from Dundarave to Park Royal in response to the opposition from West Vancouver residents. *January 2020: R2 RapidBus launch was pushed to a later date by 3 months due to construction delays. April 2020: Service introduced replacing portions of the former 239 Park Royal/Phibbs Exchange. July 2023: Phibbs Exchange upgrades begin. Eastbound routing detoured from Main Street to Mountain Highway, Oxford Street and Orwell Street to a temporary stop. August 7, 2023 - Bus Bay was relacated from Bay 12 (SB Orwell St @ Main St) to Bay 2 (WB Main St @ NS Orwell St) to improve transfer connections during Phibbs Exchange upgrades. May 2024: Phibbs Exchange upgrades completed, stop relocated to inside the loop at Bay 6.
