In part three of this script reading series, I continue examining the draft of the It Ends with Us script to test Blake Lively's claim in her lawsuit that the version she reviewed did not contain scenes involving sexual intimacy, intimate partner violence, or attempted SA. As we read through this section of the script together, we see that all three elements are present. We also reach the lift scene, which Blake Lively later denied existed in the script, even though at least one text exchange shows her acknowledging that the lift occurred during a sex scene. This installment looks directly at what the script actually says so viewers can compare the written material with the claims that have been made about it. 00:00 Introduction to the Script Reading 01:15 Karaoke Night and Character Dynamics 04:42 Childhood Memories and Trauma 12:49 The Power of Connection 13:47 Opening the Flower Shop 18:24 Birthday Party and Conflicted Emotions 23:27 Confrontation on the Rooftop 28:10 The Intimacy of Vulnerability 34:27 Conclusion and Call to Action
