Pillars of Creation using the Celestron EdgeHD Telescope at F/10 and Optolong OSC LP Filters

When using a one-shot-color camera, certain filters will enhance the output of the target. But what filter to use? This video gives insight into the Optolong series of L-type filters and the particular light frequencies they allow. Also, Using a telescope with a super long focal length requires critical guiding. I used the Celestron 11-inch EdgeHD telescope at F/10 to shoot four different targets highlighting the different filters. They are Messier 51 (The Whirlpool Galaxy), Messier 5 (Globular Cluster in Serpens), Messier 20 (Trifid Nebula), and Messier 16 (The Eagle Nebula, containing the famous "Pillars of Creation). The guiding system I used was the StarSense AutoGuider from Celestron and was able to achieve 5-minute sub-frames on each of the targets.
