Who would have thought the spin off of a board game would translate so well into a first (and third) person action RPG. But developers Awaken Realms have managed to not only translate the dark Arthurian legends & lore Krysztof Piskorski created for the Tainted Grail IP to the PC & console space but also pulling in some very obvious influence from Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series they have managed to create a rich and vibrant RPG world in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. Like many action RPGs you can build your character how you see fit. Specializing in ranged or close combat, spells or heavy weapons. Adding to that a variety of crafting options that can augment your skills. There is a cast of fully voiced NPCs that guide you through and cause you problems as you explore the plagued lands of Avalon. And of course you have the classic heroes journey of going from a level one scrub to devastatingly powerful demi-god all whilst carrying a piece of King Arthur's soul with you.
