Challenged with some beautiful pieces of wood I make a Box from the Beech blank. Clean, straight forms do look easy, but in the end there's no room for mistakes. Other than irregular shapes, where you can get rid of a mistake by changing the design, this is no option for a symetric, clean constructed design. Take your time if you'd like to make something similar.
