Mercedes W113 280SL Pagoda Restoration

1968 RHD Mercedes 280SL Pagoda Automatic finished in DB903 Blue with Blue MB Tex trim, owned and enjoyed by us for 6 years and now fully restored by ourselves for it's new owner. It has covered 60,000 miles from new with full history, books etc. The video shows interior and exterior including the rare fully restored hardtop and also the engine bay detailing and underside. Inside, the seats, dash and wood are all original with only the carpets being replaced. The front wings are also original and clearly show the spot welds and headlamp notches. Under the bonnet, the firewall pad is original although a little frayed in places and the under bonnet paint runs have been preserved. The boot floor is original and the paint runs can still be seen under the boot lid. Underneath the car has generally had a good clean up rather than restored - original markings can still be seen on the springs, shock absorbers and other suspension components. There will be the knowledgable out there who will note incorrect jubilee clips, hoses etc, but this car is not restored to concours, like most, but is restored to an exceptional standard to be used and enjoyed.
