Here's Why Farmers Are Marching Toward New Delhi | Farmers Protest | Delhi Chalo Protest

Farmers are on the streets again. Their demand this time is no different but a law to guarantee Minimum Support Price, that is MSP for their farmed products. Plus, they are demanding pension and insurance schemes. This protest is named as “Delhi Chalo” protest. Farmers have called this protest on 13th February. More than 200 organisations are part of this protest. The farmers will march to Delhi from Punjab and Haryana to put their demands. The Punjab-Haryana borders have been sealed so that the farmers cannot make their way to the national capital Delhi. Police have been deployed at the border to seal the Haryana-Punjab borders to ensure that the farmers from neighbouring states cannot enter Haryana before the march towards Delhi. The BJP-led Haryana government has suspended internet connectivity in seven districts in an effort to block the farmers from marching to Delhi on 13th February. Haryana government has issued a notification saying that dongle service on mobile phones would remain suspended, and only voice calls would be in service. The districts where internet services have been suspended are Ambala, Kukrkshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa.
