2025 marks 50 years of The Elphinstone Group in Australia. In this video, Founder and Executive Chairman, Dale Elphinstone, shares the remarkable story of how it all began — from his early days as an apprentice diesel mechanic at William Adams, to starting his own company, Elphinstone Underground Mining Equipment, in 1975. In 1987, Dale returned to William Adams to acquire the business, setting the stage for decades of growth and success, which would eventually lead to the founding of the Elphinstone Group. Today, the Group consists of 12 businesses, including United Forklift and Access Solutions, employing over 3,000 people in 10 different countries and has sales in excess of 2 billion.
