Discovering Amfitriti

A short documentary about the first complete exploration of Amfitriti Cave in Paros, Greece. Sara Goretta of the Cycladic Diving club discovered the cave and invited Cave Diving instructor George Vandoros to train her so she could explore the full depth of the cave. After an intense two week complete cavern and cave course Sara realised her dream and explored the full length and depth of this sometimes lunar sometimes cathedral like salt water cave. Underwater cinematographer Nassos Zervopoulos captures the preparation, training courses and full exploration of the cave with breath-taking imagery.
