So far the system has been through 3 winter blasts of -25 the worst being -35 Fahrenheit. On that day (close to the winter solstice) it got down to 10 degrees in the tunnel but I did add propane heat and use 2 layers of AG-19 row cover because the crops were too valuable to lose. I'm guessing the heat wouldn't have been necessary if it was in February because the added daylight really helps the whole system work better. Without the added heat we probably would have gone down to below zero inside the tunnel. Now since about mid-February it hasn't gotten below freezing in the tunnel and still 9 degrees outside so that's pretty significant if you're paying for heat. Anywho, lemme know what you think in the comments and enjoy my "It kinda works" faces.
