Wiring up the mimic board

Tested the whole board. Found a few shorts when firing the points and was looking at it for a couple of days until I realised I was firing the points by hand and it was shown short on the controller. As soon as I started using the capacity discharge unit to file the points it no longer registered short. I’ll remember this in future. Went to a workshop this week by Buckman on the New Genesis DCC system. It was very good. Very impressed so much so that I think I’ll be going over to the system in the not too distant future.
