We are a few hours away from tipping of the NBA Conference finals and the first matchup we will see is the Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA Western Conference Finals. Ahead of this game, I feel its best we discuss how both teams got here and why this is an example of a perfect matchup. So far the timberwolves have managed to steam roll through teams due to their team play offensively, their well rounded mindset when facing a deficit or shots are not falling and their ability to work together on the defensive end. On the side of the thunder, we saw them handle the grizzlies in a manner befitting an AAU team playing the Duke mens basketball, then when they matched up against the nuggets. The series may have gone to 7 but watching the games let you know just how far ahead the thunder were, including their game 7 domination that ended the game in 3 quarters.
