New research out today shows the street-level price of methamphetamine has dropped to the cheapest it's ever been in New Zealand. The annual "NZ Drug Trends Survey" showed the price of meth has steadily decreased from more than $550 a gram in 2017 to $330 a gram last year. The study shows this has resulted in a correlated increase in users consuming more meth.
