How often do you collaborate with colleagues outside your TV station? In the NBC Owned Station Group, weather teams are in nearly constant communication with each other. As the NBC OTS Director of Weather Operations, Nate Johnson oversees all the weather teams under the NBC/Telemundo umbrella, makes sure they have what they need by coordinating with vendors, facilitating the sharing of ideas, and even advocating for them on Capitol Hill when necessary. Erica Grow of Weather Elevate talks with Nate about this unique role he plays at one of the largest broadcasting companies in America.
