Forgive the poor video quality from my laptop camera. I just wanted to quickly go over a very budget friendly option for a gaming system. This system will handle the new CoD Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legends, CS:GO and all the other titles on the horizon. The components are as follows: RAIDMAX Gama A18-TB Steel/Plastic, Glass Side (Brand New, Newegg) Intel DH61CR Motherboard (used, eBay) Intel Core i5 3570 CPU (used, eBay) Hynix 8GB DDR 3 1600Mhz (used, eBay) SiliconPower 512GB SSD (Brand New, Newegg) [$40 was for 256GB, I paid $60 for 512GB] MSI RX 570 4GB Armor Edition (Used, eBay) EVGA 400W Power Supply (Brand New, Newegg) TP-Link N150 USB WiFi (Brand New, eBay) [Sales or good deals on eBay could get this system right near the $300 mark. If you can get by w/ 256GB SSD you'd easily get under $300] I forgot to mention the USB WiFi adapter, which is roughly $10 new off eBay and works well. You can also opt for an Intel Core i7 3770 if you want more power from the system, they typically run about $65-70 compared to the $25-35 of the i5 3570. Depending on your motherboard, it may need to be flashed to more recent BIOS revision to support 3rd Gen i5/i7 processors (if it's an Intel board) and also may need to run a newer BIOS to work w/ the newer graphics card RX400 and RX500 series etc. These were available from Microsoft until just recently, but now they're no longer available. I will post links to downloads for the DH61CR motherboard. Lucky for me I have an i5 2100 that I use on these boards if I need to do a BIOS update. Bios Rev 48 https://drive.google.com/file/d/11QeS... Bios Rev. 99 https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Ao4... Bios Rev 120 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XkoH... Do bios updates in order, save it to usb flash drive, hit F7 at boot up, select your flash drive, select the update. **If you try to do the Bios Rev 48 update off USB Flash and it states it's unsupported you are likely on one of the original Bios versions and will need to use the Express update from within windows for the first update to 48. Basically you'll install Windows without your graphics card installed (monitor connected directly to motherboard), and from windows download/run this update. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CYH... I cannot emphasize enough that if you're utilizing a 3rd gen i5/i7 and the BIOS on the board you get is prior to version 35, it will NOT support the processor. So you'll want to try (or hope) to verify with seller your board has a later BIOS (most of them do). Otherwise just buy an Intel i3-2100 or i3-2120 (they sell for $7-10 shipped) just to be safe to be able to update your BIOS. If you have any questions or concerns hit me up and I can help out. #Budget #Gaming #Build
