Bodypack and handheld models are available in black, with a nickel finish option for handhelds. The reversible clip on the bodypack provides flexible mounting options for antenna orientation. Power options include double-A or Shure rechargeable batteries. The battery shim securely holds the double-A’s in place. When powered by Shure rechargeable batteries, transmitters can be conveniently docked in a Shure charging station. Special features in the AD series transmitters make set up, testing, and troubleshooting easier. Each transmitter has a built-in tone generator that provides a continuous sound source for walk testing and sound checks. The generator offers selectable reference tones of 400 and 1000 Hertz. The tone level is adjustable from minus 60 to 0 dB. During testing, problems can easily be detected if the tone drops out or changes. The Marker function allows you to remotely place flags on the Timeline recorder in Wireless Workbench. Selecting “enter” on the transmitter places flags in real time. Playing back the Timeline recording allows you to pinpoint the exact time when the marker was dropped and examine the Timeline data. Handhelds are compatible with a wide range of Shure microphone capsules. Bodypack models are available with either a TA4 or LEMO connector. The threaded locking collar, included with the bodypacks, provides a secure connection for lavalier microphones.
