Jiah's death CBI raids Pancholi's residence - TOI

The Central Bureau of Investigation began searching actor Sooraj Pancholi's house in Juhu Mumbai on Wednesday (May 13, 2015) in connection with actor Jiah Khan's death, reports Mumbai Mirror. The search comes 10 months after the CBI registered an FIR in the case following a Bombay High Court order, the report stated. At the time of going to press, sources told Mirror that the CBI team had recovered several documents, including letters, pen drives and memory cards. The recovered articles will be transferred to the CBI's Delhi headquarters, where it will be analysed. A team from the headquarters is monitoring the probe, which is carried out by a special crime team from West Zone based in Mumbai, the report further stated. Jiah Khan was found dead at her Juhu home on June 3, 2012. While the police initially registered a case of suicide and charged her then boyfriend Sooraj with abetment, her mother Rabia has all along maintained that Jiah was murdered.
