This episode takes us from Delhi to Ratlam a distance of 878kms, majority of the time spent of the Delhi - Mumbai Expressway. The journey began with an early morning start from Delhi to avoid the busy city traffic. We took some great pics in India Gate and then moved on with help of google maps. We were quick to reach outskirts of Gurgaon. A quick cup of tea and off we were on the Delhi - Mumbai Expressway. The eight lane expressway was nothing short of a treat to drive on. With speed limits of 120kmph meant that we could literally fly through, however for safety concerns and since the car was loaded to the brim, we chose to cruise at 110kmph. After quick breakfast at a food joint adjacent to the expressway we moved on. The expressway took us to Dausa as we took exit at Sawai Madhapur in Rajasthan and then moved through rural roads of Rajasthan before joining the expressway again after 150kms. Then on it was a smooth sail to Ratlam. Overall the journey of 878kms from Delhi to Ratlam took just about 10hrs to complete which according to me is phenomenal to say the least.
