Remy and I hike the West Loop of the Madeline Island Wilderness Preserve and it was definitely sloppy & wet and reminded me of videos of the Florida trail. Some areas seemed completely unpassable, but we trudge through the wet mess with all the challenge at hand, including mosquitos and ticks. That same weekend we took all 4 dogs to Madeline Island. This island is the largest of the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior, but not included in the Apostle Island National Lakeshore. Around 300 people live on the island and you can get the via the Bayfield Ferry. **Hiking portion film on my iPhone. I thought I had it in 4K but rendering quality looks terrible!
