The Prime Minister's two-day Kuwait visit, the first by an Indian prime minister in 43 years, was at the invitation of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. He interacted with a cross-section of workers from different states of India at the camp, enquired about their well-being, and also sat at a table with some of them when snacks were served.
