Snare pad noise level This video is about the actual noise levels of 6 different Roland pads. Here how they sound and check out their pros and con’s. Find V-drum Tips on: Facebook: http://goo.gl/sW6z3S Twitter: http://goo.gl/svH95f Webpage: http://www.v-drumtips.com The PDX-8 pad. It is labelled as 10’ pad. It has an 8’ mesh head and a disturbing white rim on the inside. It has no positional sensing but is really light compare to other pads. The PD-80R pad is small and the rim is really noisy, but it has only 5 tuning screws. It is a perfect tom pad. The PDX-100 has a 2-way mounting system, a 10’ mesh head and is on sale for a really good price. The PD-105 pad has a nice wooden shell look and a 10’ mesh head, but it is really expensive. The PD-8 is a cheap pad and mostly used as tom pad. It is a really noisy 8’ rubber pad. Also perfect as percussion pad. The PD-125 is the perfect snare pad, it is a 12’ mesh pad with a wooden shell, but it is expensive and heavy. There are also some other good pads on the market. But we don’t have them.
