Tik Tok:   / mikeshardreviews   Nice Kids Get Whiskey: 2 oz (60ml) Rye Whiskey 1 Lemon, Cut into Wedges 0.75 oz (22.5ml) Green Tea Syrup 0.25 oz (7.5ml) Peppermint Spirit Garnish: Cinnamon Stick and Whole Cranberries Method: Combine the lemon wedges and green tea syrup into a cocktail shaker and muddle together. Add the spirits and some ice, then shake for 10 to 15 seconds to combine. Dirty dump the contents of the shaker into a chilled rocks glass and top with ice if there is space remaining. Garnish with the cinnamon stick and cranberries, then serve forth. Green Tea Syrup: 1 cup Sugar 0.5 cup Strong Green Tea Method: Preheat 1 cup of water in the microwave using a Pyrex or other heat safe container, being sure to add anywhere from 4 to 6 green tea bags while it heats. Do this preheating in 2 minutes sessions, agitating the tea bags between each cycle. Once you have a sufficiently dark tea, measure out half a cup of it and add it to a saucepan with 1 cup of sugar and the tea bags you were already using to steep in the water. Simmer over medium low heat until the sugar is totally dissolved. Bottle in a sterilized glass bottle and store in the fridge.
