Review of South Jetty Campground in Florence, Oregon In this review, we share our full-time RV camping experience at Thousand Trails South Jetty in Florence, Oregon, in June 2025. If you're asking yourself, “Is Thousand Trails worth it?” especially with a Camping Pass or Adventure Membership, we have answers. The campground is located in a scenic coastal woodland near popular Oregon attractions like Sea Lion Caves, Heceta Lighthouse, and Hobbit Trail. During our visit, we stayed in our 32-foot PUMA travel trailer. Water and power hookups were available, and although there was no sewer, the bathhouses were clean, and the campground offered family-friendly bathing, a pool, and a clean playground forest fort, which enhanced the experience. While spaciousness and organized activities were limited, the area was very relaxing, and the community was welcoming to everyone.
