In this virtual tour we walk through Trastevere and its alleys. This district is one of the centers of Rome's nightlife with its shops, bars and restaurants. In this video, however, you will see a different face of Trastevere (for the Covid-19 emergency), not very crowded as usual, but still very interesting. The walk starts from Ponte Sisto, the bridge that connect Regola district (Rione Regola) to Trilussa square (Piazza Trilussa). From there we walk through the alleys of Trastevere to the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. The kind of film we make can be defined as Slow TV, i.e. filming ordinary events (such as a walk) for their entire duration, with original audio and without editing (except for unforeseen circumstances or technical reasons). We decided to use this mode of shooting because we believe that in this way we can show (in addition to the places) a small slice of reality.
