Under the hood is a 1.2-litre petrol/LPG engine, while the rear axle is powered by a separate electric motor. The result is a unique drivetrain layout: the front wheels are driven by the combustion engine through a dual-clutch EDC automatic gearbox, while the rear wheels are driven only by the electric motor. What makes this setup even more unusual is the fact that there is no mechanical connection between the front and rear axles. Unlike Dacia’s conventional hybrid system, there is also no multimode gearbox here.
