This video is a quick Subaru DiY maintenance video on checking a MISHIMOTO BAFFLED OIL CATCH CAN on my 2004 Subaru Forester XT. I walk you through the installation layout and how to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the Catch Can system. The baffled oil catch can shown in this video is the 2-port compact model sold by Mishimoto. These baffled catch cans function as an air oil separator. They work great to pull that aerated oil out of the PCV air that’s being recirculated through the Turbo Inlet.
