Recording to a Tape Deck instead of Resample Method | SP-404 Beat Making

In this video I use a Tape Deck to record my SP-404A Lo-Fi beat jams instead of the Resample Method. Aside from how warm drums sound on tape, this allows me to play up to 12 samples at once opposed to 4. That's the challenge with using Resample - stereo samples count as two. When my jazz guitar chops are in mono but my drums are in stereo I can't play, say, a kick or a snare with a hi-hat without cutting off the jazz sample. I tend to steer clear of Dolby NR, I dig the hiss and just make sure I'm cool with the signal to noise ratio...matter of taste. Check it out, let me know what you think.
