With very thin armor and health in realism mode, you basically can't do run and gun, you must do the classic cover shooter style. This case need weapon with long range, high accuracy and stability. Also large DMG per bullet is also important, because you total ammo is very limited, and each bullet count. I think SMG is the worst category in this mode, bullets just can't high on target. The best for short range is actually LMG, and for medium range to long range, rifles are better than MMR because of the larger mag and auto firing. AR sits in between, but again the magazine goes too fast, will run out much sooner than the auto rifle. So I am still using my favorite UIC15 MOD2 auto rifle in here, again.
