2017 Ibanez SR300 Passive Conversion / 3EMP3LD Preamp Bypass (Failed Battery Harness) In today's episode we try to speak English after eating all of the Sauerkraut, and we patch up the electronics of our bass guitar to look at some wiring diagrams afterwards. Enjoy! Just an easy preamp bypass, the bass will run passive without the tone / EQ controls. Since the battery harness is completely broken I wasn't that concerned when I realized I connected the battery cable. After all this little mishap made me do a bit more research and gave me a better understanding of the 'repair', so I guess there was some positive carry over. I could have started over in order to pretend I know what I'm doing, but that's really not what it's all about I guess.
