This is the recently released Arcade Archives 2 port of Rave Racer on the Xbox Series X. Rave Racer is the third game in the Ridge Racer franchise that was originally released exclusively to arcades in 1995. Rave Racer is part of the Arcade Archives 2 series of games from developer Hamster Corporation, in which they have partnered with famous companies like SNK, Konami, Taito, and even NAMCO to name a few to bring classic arcade games to the Nintendo Switch, PS4 (PlayStation 4), PS5 (PlayStation 5), Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, iOS, Android, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Rave Racer is one of the three fully 3D racing games that are part of the Arcade Archives series for now with the other two being Ridge Racer and Aqua Jet. The most notable thing that stands out with Rave Racer is the option to race in a fully choosable third person camera view perspective, it can also played with using the default bumper camera view. The game does have different cars that you can drive, however you have to choose the player car in the service menu or in the Settings menu if playing on console.
