Due to such widespread use, it is critical that technicians be well-equipped to handle these fluid power systems. Amatrol’s Basic Fluid Power Learning System teaches users to install, operate, design, and troubleshoot basic fluid power systems for a variety of applications. Both basic hydraulics and basic pneumatics are covered by this system. The system is constructed as a mobile double-sided A-frame to allow multiple users to perform hands-on activities concurrently. Actuators, valves, hoses, fittings, and instrumentation panels for both pneumatics and hydraulics are included. The panels can be easily removed, repositioned, or even stored in slots underneath the work bench. This allows for the user to set up the workstation in the best configuration for their task. Likewise, additional panels can be added to expand the system’s capabilities. Offered expansion panels include Intermediate Hydraulics, Advanced Hydraulics, Electro-Hydraulics, Intermediate Pneumatics, Advanced Pneumatics, Electro-Pneumatics, and Electro-Fluid Power. In addition to industrial-grade fluid power components, the system also includes an instructor’s guide, installation guide, student reference guide, and interactive multimedia curriculum. Using the curriculum, users will learn to construct and actuate both hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
