Gold Coast Light Rail Full Journey - Broadbeach South to Helensvale

In July 2025 I took a week-long trip to Brisbane and the Gold Coast and rode on all the train lines, as well as the Gold Coast Light Rail, which is featured in this video as the first for the upcoming weekly series of my trips on each line during this time as I ticked off another interstate location! The Gold Coast Light Rail first opened to Gold Coast University Hospital in July 2014 and was extended to meet with the South-East Queensland train network at Helensvale in December 2017. The line is currently being extended further south to Burleigh Heads but a further extension to the Gold Coast Airport and Coolangatta was recently cancelled on the 1st of September 2025.
