GoPro 4 test: slow motion 120fps: exploding pumpkins + behind the scenes

GoPro Hero 4 Black slow motion test (120 fps): exploding pumpkins dropped from RC helicopter (compilation). GoPro only works if you have good light, like on a sunny day. When the light fades the pictures get quite dark, and due to the high compression (also in ProTune mode) there is only so and so much that you can do in post production to rescue the pictures. Cranking up the ISO gain from 400 to 1600 (= factor 2) or even to 6400 (= factor 4) is NOT a solution. Picture will get eternally grainy/noisy and the the codec will waste its potential on compressing artifacts. End result is video that is factually unusable. So bottom line for Hero 4 slow motion (120 fps): Brilliant feature on bright days/lighting, preferably for simple scenes without too detailed content. Best tip: In case of doubt, use more light!
