Absolutely critical: crypto agility - that's the ability to have a modularization of the cryptography package to support both multiple crypto systems today but future-proofing. The last 40 years, where we've had to do the initial crypto insertion into our technology regimes the move from Dez Triple Dez and the variant of things to AES the SHA-I and all of the others behind the scenes ... oftentimes it's done well I'm going to go from algorithm A to algorithm B and I'm good with algorithm B Oh no I got to go to algorithm C and it's a whole new cycle. I think we have an opportunity here because we're going to have to swap out and we're going to have a hybrid time frame. We've already seen some apps already implement hybrid schemes to be able to support the current and the new is being able to have that new implementation be agile, be able to swap in if one algorithm falls - I have another one ready to go already integrated into my infrastructure already. #crypto #agile #quantum #cybersecurity #criticalinfrastructure
