The Great Southern Rail trail Episode 11. The Port Albert side trail. This is a short trail of around 8km. Port Albert is located 274km South East of Melbourne in the Gippsland region. It is a thriving fishing Port and popular tourist destination. People love this town for the fish and chips. The trail is in good condition at the time of filming however there is some overgrowth that may soon become hazards. Port Albert is a great fishing destination with a good boat ramp.
