Speedway Legends - The Ivan Mauger Story

Ivan Gerald Mauger, Born October 4th 1939 in Christchurch, New Zealand. Highly decorated Ivan was a 6 time Speedway World Champion, 3 time World Long Track Champion, 4 time World Team Cup Winner, 2 time World Pairs Winner. All amongst many, many accolades and titles in his illustrious career. Ivan Mauger was considered the Greatest Rider of the 20th century, and there is very few who can discount this claim. Ivan won his Speedway World titles, his first in 1968 and his final triumph was in 1979. Ivan retired from the sport in 1985. He still holds the most World Championship wins with 9 (Speedway and Longtrack) Sadly this great legend passed away on the 16th April 2018 at his Gold Coast home.
