This youtube channel was established to chronicle the people, songs and events related to Chris Hitt's band known as "Will Power" which existed during the late 80s and early 90s. Will Power was a Heavy Metal band in the Coronado/San Diego area which tried to make it but couldn't. Chris Hitt was the lead singer, Marcus Fowler was the guitarist and Joseph Robinson played drums. As the title of this video suggests, it is an answering machine message from the Will Power Lost Tapes collection featuring Kevin Williamson leaving an answering machine message and then Chris Hitt responding to it in various forms including his own answering machine greeting and then individual messages about Kevin left on answering machines and Chris also sings two different versions of the Smurfs' theme song (hilarious). Chris also references his then girlfriend Alexis Lockhart in one of the messages. These audio recordings came from audio cassettes that I obtained in 1989 when Chris Hitt and Marcus Fowler were selling me their pictures and audio tapes and videotapes related to their band. They called it "deals" back then. Anyway, this stuff is all ancient history now, but it's all a part of the story back then which was the Heavy Metal band known as Will Power.
